All Products made from full industrial hemp plant extract contain CBD.  All products made from CBD Isolate, and Broad or Full Spectrum CBD extracts will have the term “CBD” prominently displayed on their labels and their labels will show the milligrams of CBD contained in the product.  And all reputable vendors will provide easy links to the Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each product that clearly shows the CBD in the product container.

Processed full hemp plant extracts and can be categorized as either Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum or Isolate extract.

A Full Spectrum extract contains all the phytocannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes within the full hemp plant.   Besides CBD it includes other cannabinoids such as CBG, CBC and CBN.  It also contains a small amount of THC, the psychoactive cannabinoid.  However, by law it cannot contain more than 0.03% THC by weight, which is not enough to get you high, but enough to possible cause you to fail a drug test.  Full spectrum products are generally the least costly to produce and the least expensive to buy.

Broad Spectrum CBD extracts are basically Full Spectrum extracts with the THC removed.  They usually retain all the other components of Full Spectrum, just without the THC.  Many products are labeled as Full Spectrum with zero-THC, which makes them in fact Broad Spectrum products.  Products made from Broad Spectrum extracts are usually priced more per milligram of CBD than those made from Full Spectrum extract and Isolates.

CBD Isolate products are different.  Here CBD is isolated from a full plant extract with everything else removed (e.g. other cannabinoids and THC).  So Isolate products contain no THC or any of the other cannabinoids, just pure CBD.  For people wanting to avoid THC, the least costly products per milligram of CBD are usually made from Isolate.
